NutriKeto_Lab: Mediterranean Diet adherence may modify the aging process

In a recent study, just pubblished in Journal Nutrition Health Aging, researchers of NutriKeto_Lab have demonstrated how much the degree to mediterranean diet adherence may modify the aging process.

Of 508 geriatric patients (219 males, 289 females) recruited and evaluated for cardiovascular and metabolic problems, those ones with a low medium degree suitability to Mediterranean diet displayed an higher prevalence of cerebrovascular and cardiometabolic diseases and an intake of a number of drugs significantly higher compared to those patients with an higher adherence. The results of this study clearly shows that  a good adherence to a  med-diet in the life span may slow down the physiological age-related health decline.
