Red meat, cheese and fat: now they are OK

An observational study published in Lancet clarifies that limiting fat intake does not improve people’s health, while a reduced intake of carbohydrates is recommended.

The dietary intake of carbohydrates should be reduced to under 60 percent of the total energy, the recommended fat intake up to 35 percent.
